The Midlands is a recording project started by composer and multi-instrumentalist Jason Koth, blending ambient electronics with an alternative lo-fi pop approach to songwriting. At the helm as a saxophonist, Koth treats the instrument more like a vocal, presenting lyrical material while maintaining the label of instrumental music.
